On Friday, April 1st at 7:00pm eastern/4:00pm pacific our guest speaker will be Dr. Mariah Pearson. Dr. Pearson will cover a "Preparing the Mare for Breeding Season" covering all aspects on how to optimize your mare's health before breeding and what aspects should be considered before breeding season begins.
Dr. Pearson is currently practicing at Park Equine Hospital in Lexington, KY.
Originally, from Western Kentucky, Dr. Mariah Pearson received her bachelor of science in agriculture and her master of agriculture from Auburn University. She then attended Lincoln Memorial University for her DVM. Following veterinary school, Dr. Pearson completed a 1-year internship Park Equine Hospital. Dr. Pearson's love for reproduction guided her to College Station, Texas where she obtained a residency position in the Theriogenology section at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine.
