On Saturday, May 15th at 11:00am EST our guest speaker will be Dr. Bonner Baldwin.  Dr. Baldwin will address ""How Acupuncture & Chiropractic Care can help your breeding program."

Dr. Bonner Baldwin grew up in the Houston area riding and competing in the hunter jumper circuit, then attended Texas A&M where she competed successfully on the Texas A&M Women’s Equestrian Team. She even won a National title back in 2001! She then completed four years at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating with her DVM in 2006. This was followed by a one year ambulatory internship at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, KY. Her heart remained with her family in Texas, so she returned to the greater Houston area and worked as an associate veterinarian with Waller Equine Hospital from 2007-2020. During this time, she noticed a need for veterinarians certified in chiropractic and acupuncture, so she obtained training at Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in Kansas in 2015, graduating with an official certification in animal chiropractic with the IVCA (International Veterinary Chiropractic Association). In 2016, she completed Equine Veterinary Acupuncture training at the Chi Institute in Florida.

Dr. Baldwin is married and has two young children, so life has led her in the direction of wanting to have less strenuous and more flexible hours. In June 2020, she opened her own veterinary chiropractic and acupuncture business, Baldwin Animal Chiropractic & Acupuncture.

She has her own small sport horse breeding operation at her home farm in Waller, TX and enjoys raising German Oldenburgs. Her filly this year was born on St. Patrick’s Day and is appropriately named Lassie. You’ll be seeing photos of her throughout the presentation!”
